Father's Day

We went to Hungry Mother for our Father's Day celebration this year. All of the grandkids were together for a picnic and ride on Danny's fishing boat.

End of Kindgergarten (sniff, sniff)

Smyth County schools last day was May 24! This is the earliest they have been out in years. If course that means more daycare money for parents.....

Here are a fews pics of Brady and his friends and their end of year program. He had a great year and would like to go back to kindergarten so he would be the smartest one there!

Functional Kitchen!

We can finally eat a meal at home! You know you have eaten out too much when your child asks to eat at home - even if it is a frozen pizza!

Don't you wonder how long he had to hold that microwave there???? Drumroll please......ddaahahahdhahadhdhdhahhhdaaaa

Still a lot of work to go but functional! I think it looks beautiful. Note my big splurge - the double oven stove! Stop by and check it out sometime!

Early Valentine

Is it possible that my love of the Twilight Saga is a little extreme? Maybe so since my son brought me this valentine, complete with a Cullen crest necklace! When I turn goth it will come in handy.

Progress!

Things are moving right along at renovation central.  A few cabinets have been installed, more to be done tomorrow, walls demolished and tile ready to go down. 

My new stove should be here by Monday so hopefully we will be able to just slide it in and take off cooking!  The countertops still have to be ordered but the end might be in sight!
