UPDATE!

I just realized that the blog has not been updated since before Christmas! Glad there are not many followers out there! Brady had a good Christmas and was spoiled by Santa. I ended up with strep and felt like crud most of the time. Oh well, so are te breaks! Our kitchen remodel is in full swing. We are currently at 7 days without a kitchen. Mom graciously agreed to let us come to her house to eat today. I can't stand the thought of eating out again but who knows when I will have a stove and sink again. The counter tops have not even been ordered.

Day 1

Cabinets being torn out, dishes stacked everywhere, things being boxed up.

Something is missing! Where is the refrigerator?

It is in the living room - Where else would it be?

Now at day 7:

The room is pretty empty - hopefully it will begin filling with cabinets again soon.  My nerves are shot due to the inch of dust on every surface in this house!

Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet nephew Jackson! He loved his cake!

House #3 remodel continued.........

Every time we move I have to get a new refrigerator - not because I am particular about using someone else's fridge but because the houses we move into have ancient ones. I hope that this was the final move because I have the refrigerator of my dreams!

This one is a beauty! French doors, ice and water in the door, lots of space (the biggest one in Lowe's!). I am not much of a stainless steel person but the white ones were not on sale!

The freezer on the bottom is spacious too!

Stop by and bring a dish so that we can see how much food it will hold!

This is David and he is battling cancer. He starts chemo tomorrow and radiation later.  Please pray that God's healing hands will touch his body.

We celebrated Mom's 60th Birthday this weekend with a party at the church.




Her cake was a gift from Heather, Jimmy and Jackson. It was the hit of the party.

Trunk or Treat

Here are the only decent photos I took at Trunk or Treat this year. Brady did not want his picture taken, Abbie had an attitude and Mollie just said "NO". I did get a picture of the face paintings:

Brady came home and counted his pieces of candy. After eating some he still had 69 pieces. That is enough candy to rot all of his teeth out!

On a super positive note, I passed my life, health and annuities exam! Mom could not understand why I was so uptight about it, but when your employment depends on it you get a little stressed. Also, if I failed I would have to pay for subsequent testing myself - at $57 each time. That is quite an incentive to pass!!
