I would like to think that my blog is going to be entertaining - and people are going to be excited to read it- but with this cruddy dial-up internet connection it is going to be hard!! That is what you get when you live in the boonies. When I decided that we needed a bigger house last spring, I envisioned myself living in town - or at least on the outskirts. What my husband envisioned was a totally different scene. Lucky for him there was nothing in our price range in town that we would not be afraid to walk barefoot in. Thus, we are in the boonies.
This morning we heard (then saw) a bunch of turkey's gobbling across the road. Last night, Brady and I saw a squirrel in the back yard and I was buzzed by a hummingbird. We also regularly see deer running through the yard and various types of road kill on the commute to work and daycare.
I will admit that in the warm weather we live in a beautiful place. In the winter - well that is another story for another day.
Hopefully I will be able to post some photos - when I am at someone's house who has DSL.....I hope someone at EMBARQ reads this and feels sorry for me.........

I didn't sleep well last night. Sleeping in to compensate for my insomnia
may have seemed reasonable, as it is Saturday. But I was greeted at 7am by
