I broke a bone in my foot a few weeks ago. I was bungee jumping over in West Virginia at the New River Gorge bride, no I was rock climbing in the Adirondacks, no I was running in a marathon in Boston and stumbled over someone who had fallen and broke the bone on the pinkie toe side of my left foot.....My podiatrist gave me permission to embellish my story so that it does not sound quite so clutzy. I was actually coming down the steps at home (in the dark!) and either slipped or missed a step. I yelled - which woke Charlie up - who ran over and yelled "Get Up! You Have To Get Up" while I was still seeing stars. I am tough - I took myself to the doctor, then the hospital, then back to the doctor.
I came into the living room to get my boot one day and found that Brady had decorated it in a United States military motif. (Thus making lemonade out of my lemons.) Note the handy flashlight tucked into the side.
In a couple more weeks I will hopefully be finished with my fashion statement (even though I hear that peep toe shoes are quite sexy!) and Brady can have permanent ownership of it to decorate as he pleases.
Supported Employment: The End of an Era

where she was raised - her friends, neighbors, church, dayhab - to join our
family...
