Memorial Day Weekend 2011

The weekend started with a house guest.  Clooney stayed a few

days with us while Mom was in Gatlinburg with her sisters.  He was a perfect guest - not pottying in the house.  That is always a plus for a guest!

 

After our guest left, we went to Macados for supper on Saturday.  Brady had his usual - chicken tenders and goldfish crackers.

 

On Sunday Brady went to play golf with Nay, then they went to the lake and road the paddle boats.  When he got home we were blowing up the Cannonball waterslide.

Monday we are planting flowers and probably playing in the slip n slide again.  What a great weekend!

Bradyism's

#1)  Me:  Brady stop messing with that right now.  I am not going to tell you again.
       Brady(softly to himself) starts singing "I AM IN MISERY"

I don't think he quite got the irony.


#2)  Brady:  "Mom, Right there is that chicken place that you went to eat at!"

It was actually the Black Rooster, the nicest restaurant in Marion!










 

St Jude Trike A Thon

 Brady's daycare/preschool had their annual St Jude Trike a Thon today.  I Brady raised quite a bit of money again this year!  It is a great opportunity for kids to help kids. 

We Brady had his last Little League game today, Rec League t-ball practice, then the Trike A Thon.   I thought he would be worn out - NOT SO!  He did not want to leave so he and Charlie stayed and I came home (I have some sort of a bug, that is why I am getting to blog!).

Mother's Day 2011

Here are a few pictures from Mother's Day.  As you can see, no one took a picture of me.  I guess I am a little bitter about it!

It was a pretty good day. We cooked lunch at April's house and I got to come home and iron.  At least I had a few minutes of silence. 

Enough grumbling.  Brady made me some really sweet gifts, plus he thinks I am 25! 

Happy Birthday Garrett & Walker!

 Garrett and Walker turned ONE on May 13!  We were invited to a Cat in the Hat celebration for Thing 1 and Thing 2!

Brady's gift to Thing 1 and Thing 2 - a Cozy Coupe police car!  We also took his Cozy Coupe so that each would have one - sort of chintzy but we can't afford two!!
